OEKO-TEX® X SPOOR

Since traceability is vital in the leather industry, we joined forces in 2021. Basically, OEKO-TEX® holds all data from finishing tannery level to finished product. And at SPOOR we hold all data from farm level until finishing tannery level. Thereby, we can connect our dots and deliver value to brands and consumers – ensuring the traceability and transparency on SPOOR leather products certified by the leather standard and the Made in Green certification.

“With this collaboration we will further develop our standards and labels towards more transparency. We know sustainability and transparency is the future. Lifting the traceability bar in the leather industry documented on data is a huge step forward for our industry, says Georg Dieners, General Secretary at OEKO-TEX®.

Together, we ensure that the invisible is made visible and end consumers get insights into traceable supply chains in the textile and leather industry.
